Desiree Mitchell
As the program director at Parker House, Desiree brings 30+ years of experience in the health and wellness, medical and legal fields, as well as experience in mental health, drug and alcohol abuse and domestic violence.
In her role as the health and wellness director at OnTrack drug and alcohol rehab, she created a curriculum for health and wellness for the entire residential treatment program for 5000 people. She has taught parenting, nutrition and wellness classes to hundreds of men and women throughout her career. She has been an SNF director, a nurse educator, a charge nurse, a home health nurse, a hospice nurse, and a travel nurse.
Earlier in her career, Desiree was a holistic health practitioner, midwife, doula, childbirth educator, and childbirth liaison.
Her vast experience as a holistic health practitioner, nurse and educator, along with experience working with victims of abuse, makes Desiree uniquely qualified to help the women and children at Parker House lead healthy and successful lives. We are honored to have her on our team.
